a while back, just for fun, i tried taking a night photo while waiting for a friend in monument square. i tried thirty seconds, forty five seconds, and a minute. they all came out about the same, which makes me question my ability to count seconds, but it was fun anyway.

i've been bringing my camera with me to sailing practice, as you've probably noticed. this means that i have a great many photographs that i took on the water, subjects being boats and birds and the odd skyline shot.
